Hart County Circuit Court Overview

The Judicial Center is in Munfordville, the county seat. The City of Munfordville official page gives local county-seat history, and the Kentucky Historical Society Hart County marker places the county's early courthouse history on the courthouse lawn in Munfordville. The Hart County Historical Society and Museum is another local history source, but court users still need the Circuit Court Clerk or KCOJ systems for current case records.
Hart County Court Structure

Divorce cases are Circuit Court matters in Kentucky. Search Hart Circuit Court Records
Public Circuit Court case information may appear through KYeCourts Public Court Records. The guest login is free, but it is protected by a checkbox and CAPTCHA gate. Docket information is searched through a separate Kentucky Court of Justice docket portal. That docket portal includes Hart County, Circuit and District division choices, a required date, and optional courtroom and subdivision fields. The visible disclaimer says docket information is not an official docket and may change.
For official copies, older records, records held offsite, or file access beyond online summary data, contact the Hart County Circuit Court Clerk. If a record is at a State Records Center and is public, the clerk should provide the file locator numbers needed for that request. Restricted categories are different. Juvenile records, adoption files, mental-health commitment records, sealed records, and expunged records are not ordinary public case records.
